Mediation Rates

STANDARD RATES:

$375.00 per hour for a two or three party case.

$400.00 per hour for a four or five party case.

No Travel Charges for any mediation within the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Other travel charges on a case-by- case basis.

No Administrative or set-up fee charged.

Advance deposit of four hours mediation/preparation time – refunded if mediation canceled 15 or more days prior to the mediation, if canceled 14 days prior to mediation, deposit refunded if case settled or mediator can re-book the date and time. Otherwise, canceling side responsible.

FLAT FEE MEDIATION PROGRAM

The Mediation Office of Kevin C. Coleman is please to announce a new program for “small” personal injury. These are Personal Injury Cases in which the plaintiff demand is less than $60,000. We hope this will provide cost effective mediation for these smaller cases. The criteria are as follows:

  • Plaintiff demand less than $60,000.00.
  • Four Hours of Mediation.
  • $1,000.00 Flat Rate.
  • No Preparation Time Charge if prep time + mediation time does not exceed four hours, otherwise, prep time charged at $250/hour.
  • Mediation to take place at counsel’s office.
  • No Travel Charges Within Greater Bay Area.
  • Deposit Returned (minus mediation statement review time at $250/hour) if Case Settles Prior to Mediation up to day prior to the mediation.
  • Private Mediations Only (No panel work).
  • Time spent in excess of four hours charged at regular rate.
